Who we are
Lankan.lk is operated by Apkings (Pvt) Ltd, a company incorporated in Sri Lanka ("we", "us"). We are the controller of personal data processed through this website under the Personal Data Protection Act, No. 9 of 2022.
What we collect today
- Trip plans you choose to save. When you save a plan, we store your trip choices (dates or month, length, party size, budget style, interests, pace and the resulting route) under a random link. We do not ask for your name or email to do this.
- Basic technical logs. Our servers record standard request information (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) to keep the service secure and working. These logs are kept for a short period.
We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not sell personal data.
What we will collect later
When accounts, business listings and enquiries launch, we will collect the details needed to provide them, such as your email address and the information you submit. This notice will be updated before that happens.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Contact details will be published here before launch.
Changes
We will post any changes on this page with the date of the update.
