The badge means someone checked

Every business starts as a plain listing. The Lankan Verified badge is shown when an owner claims the listing and passes our checks, or, until then, when we have seen the business well reviewed on Google (4.0 or more from at least 50 reviewers). Checks expire, so badges stay current.
